Our mission is more than a slogan, it's part of our philosophy and belief. It's the result of years of practice and Dr. Ted's whole body approach to treat pain in a more healthy, holistic, and natural way. With the opioid pain crisis, a safe, non-narcotic pain control program with unique options for patients to treat their bodies in a more natural and healthy way is needed. That's where we come in.

Medical Director & CEO

Dr. Ted Wulfekuhler, MD (aka "Dr. Ted")

Dr. Ted graduated from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans then received post-doctorate training at Michigan State University in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. At the University of Chicago, he trained in Primary Orthopedic Medicine. He has practiced in the Greater Lansing area for over 30 years and is presently Medical Director and CEO of Harmony Restorative Services.

From years of practicing medicine, teaching at Michigan State University, and specialized training in medical orthopedics, this combination of fields gives him a broad understanding of musculoskeletal problems. His Orthopedics training gives him the ability to diagnose and pinpoint pain sites using his knowledge of the musculoskeletal and nerve systems. His Hematology/Oncology background provides knowledge of Orthobiologic interventions including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and bone marrow stem cell therapy. This melding of blood and bones and his innate compassion, Dr. Ted has the ability to provide a unique and comprehensive treatment program designed specifically for each individual.

Dr. Ted's Medical Philosophy

During my 30 years as a physician, I saw many different causes of pain most often from cancer, bone & blood diseases, or trauma. Several years ago while I was working with the indigent populations of Detroit, I recognized that the treatment focus for chronic pain sufferers needed to be a "whole body approach" and not just a prescription for pain medication. With the problem of the opioid crisis, I realized that a treatment program using safe, unique options where people could treat their pain with a more healthy, holistic, and natural way was needed.

"I wanted a treatment program that makes a difference and not simply covering up symptoms. My goal: to help you feel your best while maintaining your peace of mind that the treatments are safe, effective, and will get your pain better controlled."

Thus, I created Harmony Restorative Services, a unique medical office for Healing, Rejuvenating, and Sustaining your health and getting your life back on track!

It's normal to have questions. Here are some of the most common ones.

Are the procedures covered by insurance?

Unfortunately, not at this time. PRP has been used in the United States for over 10 years but it is your own plasma and not a FDA regulated drug. Therefore, it is hard for an insurance company to make money on something you already possess. Botox and aesthetic procedures are considered "your choice, your money".

Can I make a payment plan?

Yes. We participate with Care Credit. You fill out an application while in the office or apply online and find out if you are a candidate. You make payments to Care Credit and Care Credit pays us. As we do not bill insurances or pay a billing company, your payments are due in full on the first day of service. Our prices are lower than our competition as we do not have to pay for outside services.

What is "concierge medicine"?

"Concierge medicine" is the process where patients choose a doctor, pay a retainer, in the form of cash, for the care they receive. Common services include 24/7 phone access, same-day appointments, short waiting times, and specialty practices not available at your Primary Care Doctor's office. The more personalized care allows very refined medical treatments and the added benefits of extended office visits with a more thorough evaluation and treatment options.

Do you treat children?

We treat 16 years old and above. There is no upper age limit in this office!
